Friends

You know how sometimes you have those friends that you have known your whole life and it doesn't matter how long you have been apart, when you get together it is like no time has passed? I have a couple of those! One of these friends made a rather large donation to our adoption but asked me not to share her name. She knows who she is and she knows she is loved and appreciated, and so does God. This friend not only donated her money, but she has donated much of her prayers and her time listening to me process through this whole adoption journey and never made me feel badly about taking up so much of her time. She is such a blessing to me!!

Then there are those friends that you meet and it feels like your heart has known them your whole life. One of the biggest blessings of moving to the school I teach at now, is a friend just like that. When I met Erin, she was newly pregnant with the most adorable baby girl. We just clicked. She has also been one of my biggest prayer warriors and support through this adoption.
