"And he directed the people to sit down on the grass. Taking the five loaves and the two fish and looking up to heaven, he gave thanks and broke the loaves. Then he gave them to the disciples, and the disciples gave them to the people."
-Matthew 14:19
This is one of Jesus' miracles that I often think on and wish that I could have seen. If you read further on into the story it says that over 5,000 people were fed till they were full and twelve baskets of leftovers were collected. I just can't wrap my head around the magnitude of what took place on the hillside that day.
I think that we may be experiencing our own version of this same miracle. Where God has taken what little we had and multiplied it beyond what we could have imagined.
Tomorrow is the second (official) day of our yard sale. During the first three days while we were setting up, we made $600. Yup, you read that right. I am not going to tell you what we made today. I want to make a grand, melodramatic announcement after it is all said and done!
I want to thank you, our dear friends and family. Your generosity and selfless gifts and time spent helping us sort, price, organize, and manage are appreciated more than you know. Our hearts are so full.
