Hike to Table Rock

We took a group of teens from our youth group up Table Rock this morning! So much fun!!

Our Adoption TImeline

October 6, 2013- Felt God's prompting to begin the adoption process.

November 5, 2013- Attended Orientation at A New Beginnings and turned in our adoption application.

November 9, 2013- God met a need through a friend.

November 10, 2013- Our church prayed over us and our new adventure. God met a need through a friend.

November 12, 2013- A sweet friend gave us their "jar of blessing" toward our adoption.

November 20, 2013- Received and began working on Part 1 of our Adoption Home Study.

November 25, 2013- Submitted the first 1/3 of our Home Study paperwork!

December 2, 2013 - Had our first of three meetings with our adoption case worker from the agency.

January 15, 2014 - Submitted our second set of paperwork to the agency.

February 18, 2014 - Had our second of three meetings with our adoption case worker from the agency.

March 5, 2014 - Had our third and final meeting with our adoption case worker from the agency. We also had our home inspection.

March 21, 2014 - Received word that we were officially approved and on the wait list for a baby!!!

April 14, 2015 - On our way to the agency to meet with our adoption case worker to renew our home study, we got a call from Liam's birth mom who heard about us from a friend.

April 15, 2015 - Met Liam's birth mom. Matched!!!

September 1, 2015 - Liam is born!

October 1, 2015 - Biological parents terminated their rights.

November 20, 2015 - We finalized Liam's adoption into our family on National Adoption Day!!
