So it has been a while since Jayson or I have blogged. Mostly because it doesn't really feel like anything is happening. We were given our second set of paperwork at our last meeting and given the deadline of January 2nd to have it in by. We failed :). It was so much paperwork!! With the holidays and everything going on, it just didn't seem to work out. But, we have been working diligently and we are sending off our last set of paperwork to the agency! After this we have two more visits with our social worker. One of them will be at our home, this means I will be elbow deep in bleach and organizational items. After that, Lord willing, we will be HOME STUDY READY!! That means that at any time we could be placed! I know that likely we will be waiting for quite a while, but at this point I am kind of looking forward to the waiting that I can't control. I am sure that will change quickly.
Also, here is a picture of our sweet baby's first Christmas present! Auntie Sho loves him/her already :). Every time I see these, I smile and can't help but think of the pudgy little hands that will hold them!
